I would recommend Solicon without hesitation.

I spoke with Andy back in Sept 2020 before the pandemic , having had several quotes at time we decided in July this year to go a head and called Andy to come round and re- quote the conservatory again given it was (3 years ago.) Andy came across very genuine and not at all pushy! he provided me with a extremely competitive quote, and thoroughly went through all of the details of the proposed work. My wife and I decided that afternoon that we were going to use Solicon. Now, some seven weeks on Solicon having completed the work and we could not be happier with everything from discussions with Andy, communication and the project plan supplied by Luke, to the politeness,unbelievable hard work and professionalism displayed by those who carried out the work was to the highest standard. in particular “Kostas” who replaced the roof, was easily the most profesional, hard working builder we have ever met!- thank you Kosta! – for doing such a great job!. Also the electricon and plaster I cannot fault. All in all. I would recommend anybody who is thinking about replacing their conservatory roof to concider Solcon.

Wow! What an experience! Am I dreaming?

Wow! What an amazing experience it’s been seeing our 20 year old conservatory totally transformed. Connor and his team arrived on site at 7am on the Mondayafter the skip had been delivered at 6.45am) and by 4pm the old roof had been stripped off, the new lightweight tiled roof and ceiling completely installed AND the site cleaned up! The electrician came, as scheduled, on Wednesday to install the downlighters, and the plasterer on Thursday, leaving us with a beautifully skimmed ceiling….I stand in awe! Having worked as an architect for half of my life I can honestly say I have never seen such efficiency on a building site. Friendly, cheerful and energetic people! I can’t recommend Solicon Roofs highly enough! Well done to you all!!!

Brilliant from start to finish

Brilliant from start to finish. Solicon were recommended by our daughter who had her conservatory roof replaced a year or so earlier. Happy with the price quoted by Andy and very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the fitting team led by Connor and James who did a great job as did the plasterers, electrician and painter (Jim). They were all a credit to Solicon as was Luke who managed the project.

We are so pleased with the result. The new roof has transformed our conservatory into a great addition to our home rather than a hothouse or fridge.

Nothing short of perfect

Nothing short of perfect Great service Great communication Great price I have never seen anyone work so hard The guy on site was a machine. Did it all on his own in 2 12hour days in 27 degree and on a south facing conservatory Very very impressed and I would highly recommend them

Fantastic company, excellent roof

We were recommended Solicon conservatory roofs from a friend and honestly cannot fault the company at all . From Andy coming out to the price the job , then the step by step email from Luke about the time scale and delivery of the equipment and skip and Connor and Max arriving on time and working very efficiently, tidy and methodically. We had a slight hiccup with the plastering but I contacted Luke and it was dealt with straight away . Very happy with our new roof and pleased with our new room . Definitely recommend.

From our first visit from Andy, Luke’s organisational skills and the full fitting team, electrician and plasterer, outstanding in every way. Really pleased

We have just had a full conservatory roof replacement, electrics and plaster work done by Solicon.

We are so happy with the work. It has given us a new useable space especially as the old conservatory was just not useable due to it being to cold in the winter and too hot in the summer The guys that came were polite and tidy and the did job quickly but to a high standard. Thanks guys! Would definitely recommend!

Faultless!

A recommendation from a friend prompted us to use Solicon and from start to finish it had been faultless. We were given an itinerary of works and kept informed of any changes by Luke. The trades were friendly, courteous and tidy. It’s the best thing we could have done – we have a year round conservatory that we can use to it’s fullest. Thank you all at Solicon!

5 star company

From the survey to completion of new roof excellent service. The 4 different teams ,surveyor, installers ,electrician and plasterers were all excellent in their jobs. Kept informed at all stages by the office. If you want your conservatory roof changed these are the people to go to. Big thank you to all concerned.

A fantastic job!

A seamless, stress free installation from start to finish. Andy came to quote and was so helpful yet with no hard sell. Then Luke organised the project including the skip, the building regs and the fitters and plasterer. Connor & James worked so hard with the installation, closely followed by Jake, the electrician and Jack, the plasterer. All really polite, hardworking guys. No long tea breaks or slipping off for long breakfasts! They have even sorted out someone to replace a blown window. The work all looks great. It’s been an absolute pleasure and probably the easiest home improvement we have ever had done! Just waiting for the plaster to dry so we can get the ceiling and walls painted and start enjoying using our conservatory again, all year round! Thank you Solicon.

Fantastic Job by a professional company

After a lot of research, I decided to use Solicon as the reviews seemed to be very positive. I can honestly say what a fantastic job Connor & James did taking the old roof down & installing the new tiled roof in a day!! The following day Jake installed the LED lights & Jack plastered the inside roof to a great standard. The entire project was run with professionalism & ran like clockwork thanks to Luke. I cannot recommend or rate Solicon highly enough & their pricing is reasonable too.

A brilliant installation

A brilliant installation. The installing team of 3 were polite, friendly and incredibly efficient. The roof was installed in 2 days. The plasterer did an excellent job as did the decorator The whole installation worked like clockwork. Everything was done on time to plan including removal of the skip. The price was good. Absolutely no complaints. Can recommend to everyone

What a transformation

Solicon Conservatoty Roofs have been excellent to deal with. very organised and accommodating. Kostas and Tomaz worked very hard over 2 days doing the new roof and fitting a velux opener, then electrician and plasterer came in. All nice people. I’d deliberated over having this job done, thinking of the disruption, but no need. We’re thrilled with the end result and have now got a room fit for purpose, no overheating, no cold draughts. First class organisation

So happy we chose Solicon. Firstly the quote was very competitive and the whole team have been extremely professional. The work was completed within 3 days as promised and all workers on site were friendly, tidy and a credit to Solicon. From beginning to end outstanding!

From beginning to end, the entire team at Solicon were genuinely outstanding. From Andy’s amazing care, advice and understanding, to Luke’s military organisation skills (!), it was wonderful. At every stage of having our conservatory roof replaced – from the roof itself, to the electrician’s work to the painting & decorating, the quality of the work was exceptional, the patience and clear empathy with the customer was superb. Attention to detail was second to none in all areas. No corners cut.

Couldn’t be happier with the new roof

Couldn’t be happier with the new roof. It was put on so quickly, Kostas was brilliant and so hard working, putting most to shame! He arrived at 7am and worked solidly all day through to early evening. The room is much brighter than I thought, with the painted white ceiling and spot lights. Solicon kept us informed all the way from order to finish, so communication was excellent.

Brilliant Job

Although a little hiccup to begin with back in the summer, Luke came and everything was soon ordered and underway, the guys arrived by 7am and finished all the work within a day, even though they got soaked finishing things off. Brilliant friendly hard working blokes, its not easy in these winter months and short daylight hours! The electrician came 2 days later and the plasterer 2 days after that. We’re VERY pleased with the finished roof, its much warmer and looks 100% better than the old conservatory roof. I’ve already recommended them to our friends. Thanks so much Luke!
