Excitement is building as the day approaches for the installation of your new conservatory roof. We want to ensure you’re well-prepared and informed about what to expect on the day. Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible, so let’s walk through the key details.
1. Installer’s Arrival (We will notify you of the date): The installation day kicks off with the arrival of our skilled installation team. To facilitate a safe working environment and protect your belongings, we kindly ask you to clear the conservatory space. This is to make sure our fitters have enough space to work safely but also to protect your furniture and items from any falling dust or debris. This includes removing blinds, blind brackets, curtains, and curtain poles.
2. Deliveries and Skip Management: Expect three main deliveries on the morning of the installation – timber, plastics (including tiles), and a skip for waste. Our experienced installers will manage the unloading process, leaving you with nothing to worry about. Ensure the driveway is clear for skip placement, and rest assured we will make sure that the skip will be collected on given date (we will notify you) or earlier if the project concludes ahead of schedule. You can utilize any extra space in the skip for small items, but remember that the load must be level to the top of the skip rim.
3. Building Inspector’s Visit: With building control on your project, a visit from the inspector is scheduled for an initial inspection on the date we specify and we will let you know. The final inspection is set to confirm the completion of the project by us adheres to all building regulations, and again we will notify you of the date. Any queries or clarifications needed will be handled directly between the inspector and our team, ensuring a hassle-free process for you.
4. Electrical Work by Skilled Electrician: Our electrician, will be on-site to enhance the functionality and ambience of your new conservatory roof. Expect the installation of lights and switches, a process estimated to take approximately half a day.
5. Plastering Perfection: To bring the project to its flawless conclusion, Jack and our plastering team will attend when the roof is ready. Jack will meticulously apply a smooth skim of plaster, making any necessary corrections from the electrician’s work.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you as we transform your conservatory into a space of comfort and elegance. If you have any questions or concerns we are always happy to discuss. We’re here to make this installation day a positive and memorable experience for you.
